At the end of first year (level 1)
Art History General, Major, or Minor Plan:

A minimum grade of C- (1.6) in at least one of ARTH 121, ARTH 122, ARTH 116 (Bader College) or ARTH 117 (Bader College).

Note: Both ARTH 121 and ARTH 122 are required for the completion of any Art History plan, so it is strongly recommended to take both in the first year.
At the end of second year (level 2)
For admission to an Art History General, Major, or Minor Plan:
- A minimum GPA of 1.6 in 6 units of ARTH 100 or 200-level Art History courses.
At the end of third year (level 3)
For admission to an Art History Major Plan:
A minimum GPA of 2.6 in 24.0 units of Art History courses
For admission to an Art History Minor Plan:
A minimum GPA of 1.6 in 15 units of Art History courses, and acceptance by both departments.
