Celebrating staff accomplishments

It has been a year like no other yet staff across 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ have stepped up to the challenges created by COVID-19.

On Thursday, Dec. 10, Principal and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane recognized a number of staff for their accomplishments and contributions with the announcement of the 2020 Special Recognition for Staff Awards.

Queen 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ ’s PhD candidate wins Matariki 3MT contest

Sean Marrs, a PhD candidate in the Department of History, has won the Matariki Network of Universities Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

Marrs 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ ’s research delves into state surveillance in 18th century Paris and his 3MT presentation connects it to modern day anti-espionage efforts and even COVID-19 tracking.
