    Description:

Join Dr. Juuso Nieminen in a dialogue about inclusive assessment practices.

Dr. Nieminen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s work examines the prevailing notion that assessment accommodations can unfairly advantage some students, potentially leading to academic dishonesty. Through a detailed policy analysis (Nieminen, J. & Eaton, S., 2023), primarily within the Canadian educational landscape, Dr. Nieminen will shed light on how current practices and policies might not fully support the inclusion they aim to provide.

Dr. Nieminen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s upcoming visit to Queen's University presents a timely opportunity for faculty to engage in dialogue on how to better design and implement assessment accommodations, aligning with the goals of equity and integrity in higher education.
