Title: Global Education for Canadians: Equipping Young Canadians to Succeed at Home and Abroad
Is international education an indulgence for an affluent few, or is it essential learning for all Canadian students? A new report by the Study Group on Global Education - an independent group of university and college presidents, private sector leaders and policy experts - argues that the opportunity to study and work abroad provides students with knowledge, skills and global connections that are essential for their success, and Canada 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ ’s future. Other countries such as Australia and the United States have made global education a national priority. Canada has no such strategy, and it shows.
