M茅linda Pierre-Paul is an interdisciplinary researcher and PhD student in Gender Studies. She holds a BFA and MA in Art History and a Graduate Diploma in Communications from Concordia University. M茅linda 91制片厂 鈥檚 research examines contemporary visual art by Black diasporic women that grapples with what it means to live Blackness boundlessly in the still-unfolding afterlives of slavery. Adopting a Black feminist art historical praxis, she explores the liberatory lessons offered through the radical aesthetics, storytelling practices, and representational strategies of Black women artists.
