The Centre for Health Innovation (CHI) brings together teams of inspired, interdisciplinary investigators to fuel a solutions-based approach to translational health research. Members have diverse backgrounds including medicine, engineering, science, technology, and humanities, and understand the creative and innovative power of inclusion, to forge a path to the next generation of transformative health care. CHI is jointly supported by Queen’s University and the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC), and works in partnership with the Federal and Provincial governments and private industry to tackle the increasing complexity of today\u2019s health and healthcare delivery challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CHI integrates insights from the frontlines of care to understand the real-world experiences and needs of patients and healthcare professionals. An evolution of the Human Mobility Research Centre, CHI\u2019s specialized research laboratories are located in the Syl and Molly Apps Research Centre at KHSC and include satellite laboratories at Queen\u2019s University and the campuses of KHSC, including Hotel Dieu Hospital and Kingston General Hospital Sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
