Darren 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s research is focused on philosophy of education with an emphasis on political philosophy, narrative, and history education. His dissertation investigates the liberal conception of autonomy, as it has been applied to grade-school education. In this project, he asks whether autonomy could be reformulated to more adequately reflect a student 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s narrative-based conceptions of self, motivation, meaningfulness, etc. Apart from his work in philosophy, Darren enjoys biking in the wilderness with his daughter.
