Applications are invited for the International Visitors Program of the , which helps connect Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 with academics and institutions around the world by sponsoring visits by international scholars and helping to build partnerships within the .

鈥淨ueen 91制片厂 鈥檚 is committed to enriching its academic and research missions through internationalization,鈥 says Daniel Woolf, Principal and Vice-Chancellor. 鈥淭he Principal 91制片厂 鈥檚 Development Fund offers support to faculty and staff who want to bring an international visitor to Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 or who wish to launch a new collaboration with one of our partners in the Matariki Network.鈥

The International Visitors Program includes three application categories, each of which offers grants of up to $3,000. Category one is the open program, which helps to cover the costs of bringing an international scholar to Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 for a period of at least three days.  Last year, one of the visiting scholars funded was , a professor from the University of Havana, in a visit organized by Karen Dubinsky (Global Development Studies).

The other two application categories focus on leveraging Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 membership in the . One of these is an extension of the visiting scholars program, specifically aimed at bringing visitors to Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 from the other Matariki universities, which include the University of Western Australia, T眉bingen University, Uppsala University, Dartmouth College, University of Otago, and Durham University.

The third application category provides funding to assist Queen 91制片厂 鈥檚 faculty and staff to travel to Matariki partner institutions to build new collaborations. This seed funding may be used to initiate new academic, research or administrative initiatives.

Applications for all categories are due to the relevant Dean 91制片厂 鈥檚 office by April 22. For more information, including program details and application forms, visit the .
