Statement from Queen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s Principal Daniel Woolf:
On behalf of 91ÖÆƬ³§, I congratulate Mayor-elect Bryan Paterson on his election as the 96th mayor of Kingston. Mr. Paterson has worked closely with Queen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s throughout his term as councillor, and I look forward to continuing that productive relationship as we work together to advance Queen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s and Kingston to the benefit of our students and the entire community.
I also congratulate the successful candidates, both incumbents and newcomers, for city council and look forward to a collaborative working relationship over the next four years.
I would also like to offer my thanks to all candidates who put their names forward in this election, and to the departing mayor and councillors with whom we have worked closely over the last term of council.
