Building a supportive community for international employees

Queen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s staff and faculty who identify as international employees or newcomers to Canada are invited to enjoy food, musical entertainment, and networking at the University Club on June 15 from 3:30-5:30 pm.
The celebratory gathering, called Queen 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s Global Connect, is intended as a steppingstone towards establishing and resourcing a new Employee Resource Group (ERG) aimed at building community and supports for international employees, expanding professional development and networks, and nurturing a welcoming and responsive campus culture.
This effort aligns with the university 91ÖÆƬ³§ ’s commitment to promoting equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion, and advances efforts outlined in the newly released Global Engagement Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
